Her many roles include the part of Viola in 12th Night (Co-starring Mark Pellegrino, directed by Tracy Pellegrino), and Martha in Strange Snow. Ashley has studied at Playhouse West since 2004 and started teaching in 2012. She has extensive improvisation experience and is also available for private coaching.

"Having worked with Ashley as an actor, director, and co-teacher for many years, I can say she is an insightful, supportive, and caring teacher. A wealth of knowledge and experience, she has either worked with or studied under every teacher at Playhouse West, including Robert Carnegie, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Caan, And Tracy and Mark Pellegrino. Anyone wanting to learn about the Meisner technique and scene study in general would be benefit highly from her instruction."

-Susan Han, Playhouse West

"Ashley Scott has the uncanny ability to guide actors from a place of "acting" to a place of "living truthfully", one where they bring all the imaginative madness of their authentic selves to the work. I believe that Mr. Meisner would be proud that she is carrying his torch."

-Rocky Russo, Student/Writer/Actor

"Ashley Scott is the teacher who cracked my shell…   I was afraid to open up, but in one simple, yet powerful moment, she asked “What do you want to say to her right now?” It was not the question itself but the way she asked it. Point blank nothing more, nothing less.  She saw me holding back, she knew there was so much I was feeling and she gave me the permission I was looking for to just let it all out.  She is a no-nonsense teacher who calls it like she sees it.   Ashley let me know it was ok to be free to explore and let go of any fear I was holding onto."

-Tammy Palmer, Student/Actor
